BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The agricultural and food products that experienced the biggest price increase in Iran in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2023) were mutton, beef and veal, and canned fish, Trend reports.
Data from Iran’s Statistical Center shows their prices increased by 151 percent, 132 percent, and 110 percent, respectively, compared to the same month last year.

Except for Iranian tea, cooking oil, and potatoes, all agricultural and food products became more expensive in the 7th month. Reportedly, Iran produces more than 130 million tons of agricultural products per year on average.
