This is an increase of 107 percent in volume and 115 percent in value compared to the previous period (December 22, 2019 through December 21, 2021), the director general noted.

Abdi also said that the goods were exported by 276,000 trucks. The number of trucks increased by 91 percent compared to the previous period.

According to him, the 2-year income of Mehran Customs amounted to 1.08 trillion rials (about $25.7 million), which is a 129 percent increase compared to the previous period.

The latest data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) shows that Iran exported 113 million tons of non-oil products valued at $40.5 billion in the first ten months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through January 20, 2024). This represents an 11 percent drop in value but a 9.4 percent rise in volume compared to the same period last year.
