The Agriculture Ministry takes measures against episodic. It will announce the tender winner on purchase of medications against episodic. The tender was held in May 2005, but the winner was not determined due to high financial bids by the participants of the tender, Gadim Maharramov, the head of the Division on Prophylaxis and Struggle with Epizootic under the Agriculture Ministry, told Trend.
“We has held similar event recently. The results will be determined on 18 August,” Maharramov noted. The tender envisages purchase of biological medications and diagnosticums.
“The events are annually held by the Ministry and the government allots funds from the public budget for purchase of medications,” the representative of the Ministry underlined.
Besides, the vaccination of the cattle was carried out in early 2005 and similar measures are expected in autumn.
