A roundtable on the subject “The role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in preparations and implementation of the program on socio-economic development “ will be held on 22 August in Baku.
The goal of the event is to increase the attention of NGOs involvement and implementation the programs of socio-economic development, the Centre for Economic Reforms under the Ministry of Economic Development told Trend.
Actual issues for expanding NGOs involvement in development and realization of programes, possibilities for extending cooperation of NGOs with administrative bodies, efficiency in the NGOs activities coordination and etc will be discussed at the roundtable.
Leaders of influential NGOs, administrative bodies , economics scientists are invited to the meeting.
Participation and speech of the Minister of Economic Development Farhad Aliyev is expected at the forum, the Center underlined.
A document containing recommendations and proposals of the participants for submission to the relevant bodies will be adopted on the results of the forum.
