The Yolneqliyyatservis department of the Azerbaijan’s Transport Ministry announced tender in the framework of construction and rehabilitation of the Alyat-Astara highway.
The first tender envisions selection of the consultant on preparation of the plan for environmental assessment and ecological management, the second one is preparation of the initial project and the detailed engineering involving the evacuation action plan and purchasing of areas along the stretch of the highway.
The consultant will be selected based on the World Bank instructions. The consulting period is 12 months (15 months by the second lot) and they will be started not later of April 2006. The deadlock for the persons concerned is 31 October.
