The Department of preliminary investigations of tax crimes of the Tax Ministry of Azerbaijan brought 20 criminal actions in October 2005. The criminal actions have been brought by the articles 213.4, 213.3, 213-1.3 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
During the measures undertaken a number of people have been charged with the evasion of taxes for the total amount of 32 814,615 million AZM.
