Julia Lampietti, the head of the World Bank’s project �Investments in rural community’ will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on Tuesday to get familiar with the implementation of the project, the Baku office of the WB told Trend.
During the visit to last by 23 November Lampitetti plans to hold meetings at the Agriculture Ministry, an operator of the project, and study the work done under the project.
The key objective of the project with the budget of $15m and the term of implementation through 2009, is to render assistance to the realization of micro-projects for boosting living conditions in the rural places and upgrade of the infrastructure services (repair of roads, water supply, overhaul of schools and clinics).
