The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will allocate grant of $400,000 for preparation of the program on improvement of the port traffic and development of ports within the waters of Azerbaijan, deputy Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Musa Panahov told Trend on 16 November.
According to him, the negotiations have been held already and technical documents have been prepared. "The measures for signing the grant agreement will be taken shortly. The program will be implemented with involvement of experts from the Ministry, relevant bodies, engaged in port transportations and international specialists”вЂ" he underlined.
Touching upon the activities of the Maritime Administration under the Transport Ministry Panahov noted, the Administration commenced operating and the Ministry performs works for arranging its full operation.
