In February 2006 the consumer inflation in Azerbaijan comprised 1.9% as compared 2005, the State Statistics Committee told Trend. Over this period the prices of foodstuff grew by 3.5%, non-food 0.2%. The tariffs for services remained at the January level.
In January-February 2006 the inflation rate comprised 5.7% as compared to 2005. The same time the prices of foodstuff grew by 6.3%, non-food - 4.7%, tariffs for services - 5%.
