There are some facts of tax evasion by Barmek Azerbaijan, however, exact amount is still unknown, Tax Minister Fazil Mammedov told journalists, Trend reports citing ATV channel.
A lawsuit has been filed on the company as a result of tax legislature violations. Checking procedures are continued both by the Tax Ministry and the Ministry of Finances.
Besides, there are some serious legal violations, regarding which this case has been moved to the office of the Attorney General of the Republic, minister said.
Investigation into the activities of Azpetrol is over and the results will be publicized in the course of the coming week following its coordination with the opposite side, he said.
Deputy Prosecutor General, Rustam Usubov, also stated, that Huseyn Arabul, the President of Barmek Azerbaijan is among the suspects in the case. He is obliged to provide the investigation with a number of documents on the case. A decision based on the investigation results will be made. Three persons occupying high positions in the company are already held responsible for their actions, Usubov noted.
