Investment climate in Azerbaijan to be presented to Turkey
Business forum of the Azerbaijani-Turkish businessmen will be organized in Istanbul on 11 April 2006 to hold a presentation of the investment climate of Azerbaijan, Ahmet Erentok, the head of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Union of businessmen (ATIB).
Organized by ATIB, the Azerbaijani Fund for Facilitating Export and Import (AzPROMO), the Department on Business Support of the Ministry of Economic Development the event will demonstrate the economic development in Azerbaijan. The Turkish side in its turn will demonstrate existing potential in the country, which is important for further deepening the relationships, after it is planned to hold bilateral meetings.
Erentok said that 50 Azerbaijani businessmen specialized in the financial sector, agriculture, foodstuff, tourism, construction, and information technologies will participate in the forum. Representatives from 100 companies will represent Turkey in the event.
Attending the gathering will be representatives from the state bodies Ministries of Economic Development, Industry and Energy, Communications and Information Technologies. Next week Erentok is going to Turkey to arrange preparations with the heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Istanbul.
