Training on the bird flu diagnostics and prophylactics will take place in the regional laboratory of the State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture on April 6, the Ministry told Trend. The training will be conducted by the Columbian University professor, Jeffrey Forman with the assistance of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) for the employees and experts of the veterinary services and labs in Saatli, Imishli, Ali-Bayramli, Hajikabul and Neftchali. Appearance of the disease, its consequences, human infection, prophylactic works, safety rules and methods to tackle the disease will be discussed at the trainings.
The similar training first took place in the regional veterinary lab of Lenkoran for experts from Salyan, Masalli, Jalilabad, Jardimli, Lerik and Astara.
