$5 million is needed to reconstruct the Sumgayit glass factory and equip it with the new technological line, the director of Khazar management, Gudrat Kerimov told Trend.
According to the calculations, 25-30 million EURO are needed to bring all the necessary equipment. However, the Chinese producers are ready to provide the necessary equipment for $5 million. The installation of the new equipment will allow producing 2 million m2 of produce a year, Kerimov said.
204, 600 m2 of the glass produce have been made at the factory in 2005. The factory is planning to expand the production and present this summer new type of produce.
The factory was put into exploitation in 1963. It productive capacity is 600.000 m2 a year.
