Vessel Bastakar Gara Garayev leaved from Baku to Astrakhan

The vessel Bastakar Gara Garayev (type Po-Po) leaved for the Russian port Astrakhan within the project of opening of a permanent route in this direction. This marine route was appointed for the transportation of trucks, Trend reports with reference to marine line. It will be realized by Azerbaijani and Russian transporters on a parity base. Gara Garayev and a Rusian vessel of this type will move through this route.

This vessel has a capacity to carry 60 KamAZ automobile or 40 heavy trucks with trailers.

In the winter of this year, the marine line carried out a movement project through this route. Opening of this route was realized due to difficulties in the transport movement in connection with the weather condition in the automobile roads of Azerbaijan in the northern direction.

The movement will take about two days. All customs and boundary procedures will be conducted in Baku international marine port and the destination place.
