According to the CIS Statistic Committee, the highest economic growth in January-May 2006, 38%, is registered in Azerbaijan, and the lowest, 2%, in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
During this period, average GDP in the CIS rose by 6% over year, industrial production rose by 6 % over year.
Alongside, average inflation across the CIS made 9% compared to relevant period of the last year. Populations monetary income growth during the reported period outpaced inflation.
