The Commission for Interaction of CIS railroad administrations on health is launching its work in Minsk today. In this commission Azerbaijan is represented by Saday Zeynalov, chief of sanitary-medical service with Azerbaijan State Railroad, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan State railroad (ASR).
Heads of medical services of the railroads of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Armenia and Turkmenistan are taking part in the work of the commission.
The main topics of discussion at the commission will be the development of general
rules to eliminate emergencies and terrorist attacks at railroad facilities, as well as newest methods of train operator diagnostics.
Russian Railroads РћРђРћ is presenting two high-tech railroad innovations in Minsk. First is a medical train with the newest tele-medical communication system and autonomous power supply. Eight carriages are equipped with the state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment from Italy, Japan, Germany, USA, Sweden, Holland, Austria, Israel and Brazil.
The second innovation is a unique automated system for pre-trip medical inspection of train operators developed by System Technologies Institute, Cardiology Scientific Research Institute and Russian Railroads Health Department. This unit automatically measures blood pressure, checks for alcohol vapors in air and makes an ECG.
