From 18 to 23 September, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO) held seminars for the local businessmen through the support from TACIS of the European Union. The event brought together the representatives of the local business people functioning in the spheres of food industry, construction, chemistry, agriculture, etc., Trend reports quoting the statement of AZPROMO. The seminars were held in Baku (September 18), Lankaran (September 19), Ganja (September 21) and Guba (September 23).
During the seminars, Czech experts Robert Heyzak held a presentation on the topic of How to become the partner in joint ventures, Yana Falatova How to become exporter in EU: classifications and standards, approaches, and the regional programs manager of AZPROMO Teymur Hajiyev spoke about the oppotrunities provided by AZPROMO to business people.
The Head of the Secretariat of the State Program for Social-Economical Development of Regions of Azerbaijan Agajan Ahmedov mentioned the importance of the seminars in the development of the regions. During the seminars, the local businessmen familiarized with the possibilities of producing high-qualified products to export to foreign markets.
I hope that the information and proposals provided in the events will help increase the export and investments in places, the Head of the Group for Realization of TACIS Jan Klod Ravo said.
