Chrysler cuts prices for 2007 Durango and Pacifica

(autoinsidernews) - For 2007, the average sticker prices for the Chrysler Group vehicles only rose by $38 for the 2007 model year, as Chrysler slashed prices on the refreshed 2007 model year Durango and Pacifica lines.

Chrysler cut prices on the Pacifica by $1,318 on average and the Durango prices dropped by $1,852 from the 2006 prices. The Durango has experienced declines like most other vehicles in the full-size SUV segment, with sales off 40.1 percent so far this year, reports Trend.

Overall, prices for the Chrysler nameplate dropped by an average of $89. Dodge stickers rose an average of $56, driven up largely by a $400 increase on Ram pickups, which are about 31 percent of Dodge brand sales. Jeep experienced the largest bump in prices, with average stickers up $175.
