A visit of a delegation of the Administration of Kurgan Oblast (Region) of Russian Federation has been postponed to November 2006. Earlier it was expected that the Russian delegation would visit Azerbaijan in the second decade of October 2006. According to the Russian Trade Representative Office to Azerbaijan, the date and the team of the forthcoming visit of the Russian delegation are under determination now, Trend reports.
It is expected that it will be at the highest level (Governor or Vice-Governor of Kurgan Oblast), since within the visit, an Agreement on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technical, and Cultural Fields between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Kurgan Oblast of Russia is expected to be signed.
A group of businessmen is expected to be included to the team of the Russian delegation. They have already informed the Azerbaijani party to met Azerbaijani entrepreneurs. In this connection, a business forum is expected to be held within the visit as well.
