Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijan Minister for Economic Development has stated that the changes to the Tax Code, which envisage the opening of special VAT accounts in the banking system and the introduction of simplified tax with regards to the construction sector will have a negative effect on the business climate in the Country, Trend reports.
I do not think it will pose a negative impact, as the modifications reveal an improvement to the document. We do not have any notes in this respect, Babayev said.
