General Motors releases official images of Cadillac DTS-L

Business Materials 24 November 2006 15:39 (UTC +04:00)

(autoinsidernews) - Last week, we reported that Cadillac would unveil a long-wheelbase version of its DTS sedan, called the DTS-L, at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Yesterday, General Motors confirmed the news with the release of several official images of the Cadillac DTS-L. General Motors did not provide any additional details with the photos. However, it is easy to see the extra length behind the rear doors and in the C-pillar, which Cadillac calls, VIP privacy, and is designed to hide rear seat passengers behind the C-pillar, reports Trend.

We expect the Cadillac DTS-L will give the Lincoln Town Car more competition in the livery market than we have seen out of the Chrysler 300 Long Wheelbase. However, the Town Car looks to have a solid hold on the livery market and will be tough to beat. Livery companies put a lot of miles on their cars and a known commodity is important.
