At the decree by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, additional requirements have been introduced for the issue of a license to undertake hotel activities in Azerbaijan, The Government informed Trend.
The amount of state duties for a license for the hotel business is the amount equal to 1500-fold of the conventional financial unit.
The new order requires the provision of detailed information on the facilities offered (the number of rooms, facilities in the rooms and services offered etc.).
In order for the licence to be approved, the following documents are necessary: an act of the commission on commissioning of the facility, a fire safety document from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a document by the Ministry of Health regarding sanitary-ecological standards and rules.
The law was passed on 25 December 2006.
