Azerbaijan will participate in the third summit of Agriculture Ministers of Economic Cooperation Organization (ЕСО) member-states. The Ministry informed Trend that Bahram Aliyev, Deputy Agriculture Minister, will represent Azerbaijan in the gathering. At the end of January, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Afshar Suleymani, conveyed an invitation to the Azerbaijan Agriculture Minister, Ismet Abbasov, for the 3rd summit of ECO Agriculture Ministers to be held in Tehran on March 5-7. The invitation was sent by his Iranian counterpart Mohammadrza Iskenderi. It is planned to discuss the expansion of cooperation in the agrarian sector, possible participation of Iranian entrepreneurs in the projects implemented in the agrarian sector of Azerbaijan.
