Heydar Babayev, Azerbaijan Economic Development Minister, said that Azerbaijan Economic Development Ministry concluded Memorandum on Mutual Understanding with a French Company, CNIM, Trend reports.
The above-mentioned company has a great experience in the required field and high technologies. The final decision on selection of a company to construct a garbage-reprocessing plant is expected to be taken soon, said the Minister.
He did not rule out that the Azerbaijan party was viewing proposals put forward by other companies, which were interested in the installation of the enterprise in the country. The project may be even implemented with the involvement of several companies. We are facing a great issue вЂ" to solve issues connected with environment protection and refuses, said Mr. Babayev.
Today there are three technologies available in the World on the basis of which retrocession of wastes are carried out. Due to this, according to the Minister, Azerbaijan will not rush through its decision on the issue. A consultant is working on this issue. It works both with France CNIM and Japan EBARA, as well as other companies. The questions the consultant sent to us have been submitted to all the companies. They have already replied. The tender will be announced as soon as the technology on the base of which the forthcoming plant to be constructed is selected, said the Minister.
