Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend corr. I. Khalilova / Anar Akhundov, the Executive Director of "Azerbaijan Investment Company" (AIC) JSC, has said today that AIC and the Kuwaiti Financial House (Kuwaiti Development Fund enters its structure as well) have determined perspectives of future cooperation between the two financial organizations. According to Mr. Akhundov, the both parties' lawyers are currently engaged in preparing for the joint activity on investing into different Azerbaijani projects.
AIC intends to cooperate with the Kuwaiti House in some perspective directions and orientations. It can be in the form of its participation in implementing large-scale projects, where AIC will appear as a stockholder. Secondly, the idea on foundation of a joint fund in Azerbaijan, which could work in the direction of financing projects is being considered as well. The second orientation of the cooperation is that one within "Public Private Partners", as well as cooperation of private-owned and state-run companies.
"The signing with the Kuwaiti House is expected to take place in the beginning of April, 2007," said Mr. Akhundov.
