Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / According to information provided by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, during the period of January-February 2007, the amount of Azerbaijan's trade operations with 102 foreign countries totaled $1,329,640,700.
During this period, the export of 914 types of commodities amounted to $55,040,200 and the import of 3,974 kinds of commodities totalled $779,238,700. Foreign trade balance in the export and import operations ended with $228,836,700 in the red.
The amount of export operations have been increased by 10.7% ($53,221,900) compares to the same period of 2006 and import operations by 44.2% ($238,845,600).
