Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The official importer of BMW in Azerbaijan, Imrotex Motors Company held a presentation of new BMW X5 cars in its car shop in Baku. The General Manager of Imrotex Motors, Hasan Ismaylov, said that BMW X5 is the most convenient car in Azerbaijan for having a rest.
The new model of BMW X5 differs from previous models with the number of new options and sizes. The presented model is bigger by 18.7 cm and wider by 6.1 cm than previous models. It provides broader saloon and raises the convenience of the car.
The models that will be sold in Azerbaijan have been supplied with motors with volume of 4.8 litres. The capacity of the motor will be increased in the future. In addition, the models with the motors of 3 litres will be presented in Baku.
The cost of the models with 4.8-litre motors (including all operations such as custom clearance, excise payment) amounts to €96.000.
Ismaylov said that the recent searches show that more number of the options in the BMW cars are sold in Azerbaijan. last year Imrotex Motors sold 513 BMW cars. Of them, nearly 300 have been purchased by the State bodies. This year the number of the sales decreased by 30%. However, this indicator is more by at least 30% than the figures of 2005.
The principle of the new BMW X5 is the up-to-date level of the management of the car of class Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). The benzene and diesel units have been seriously modernized and the capacity has been increased. The specialists have added a number of the technological innovations to the construction of the running gear.
