Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The manager of the company Iteca Caspian, Rena Abutalibova, said that the banks of Azerbaijan have been invited to the second Caucasus Banking
The invited banks include, International Bank of Azerbaijan, Unibank, Bank Standard, Mugan Bank, Azerdemiryolbank, Bank Respublika, Kapital Bank and other banks. Texnikabank has confirmed its participation at the conference. Texnikabank is a sponsor of the conference.
The President of Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, Eldar Ismaylov, and the President of Azerbaijani Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO), Emil Majidov, are expected to participate as VIP guests.
According to the preliminary program of the conference, on the first day reports will be delivered by Zurab Nogaideli, Prime Minister of Georgia, Kakha Bendukidze, State Minister on Reforms
During the first session of the conference reports on "Perspectives and opportunities of the development of interregional relationships in financial sector of Caucasus region", will be provided by Zurab Gvasalia, President of Association Banks of Georgia, Murtaz Kikoria, Senior Banker ofEBRD and Eldar Ismaylov, President ofAssociation of Banks of Azerbaijan.
During the second session reports on "Role of banks in the dynamic development of the financial sector of Georgia, Peculiarities and characteristics of banking and finance sectors in Caucasus. Development trends of banking sector: retail banking and card services" will be made by Ekaterine Galdava, Vice President ofNational Bank of Georgia, representatives of People's Bank, VISA, TBC Bank, Etibar Aliyev, Chairman of Supervisory Board,TechnikaBank (Azerbaijan) and Gregory Vojack, Managing Partner atBracewell
During the third session reports on "Investment and financing options in the Caucasus equity, loans, capital mobilization, guarantees, co-financing", will be provided by representatives of the Georgian National Investment Agency, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Bank Republic, Societe Generale Group, Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation and Moody's Investors Service Ltd.
On the second day of the conference, discussions will be organized on the insurance system in Caucasus, economic development and the role of insurance in the region, banks as effective instruments in the development of the economy of the country, innovative ideas and the latest applications for the finance and banking sector.
