Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Insurance premiums of A-GROUP comprised of AZN 1,178mln in the first quarter of 2007. Most of the premiums were for voluntary medical insurance.
The rate of comprehensive vehicle insurance and property insurance increased intensively. The premiums on these forms of insurance have increased 3 and 5 times respectively, compared to the same period of 2006.
Claims paid out by the company made up AZN 549,800.
The statutory budget of A-GROUP amounted to AZN 1.55mln at 1 April.
