Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will organize a regional banking conference in Baku on 21-25 May, IMF Baku Office informs.
The conference will be dedicated to the collection of information on payment balance. Together with Azerbaijan, the conference will be attended by representatives of Central-Asian countries. The IMF already provides technical assistance to the National Bank of Azerbaijan in regards to this. The permanent advisor of the IMF Statistics Department, Natalie Ivanchuk, was sent to NBA last year. She will consult there for one year. The conference is organized under the IMF regional program on the development of money resources of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
