Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / Azerbaijan Investment Company JSC (AIC) held talks with the international financial institutions and foreign investment companies with regards to the prospects of joint participation in the projects in non-oil sector of Azerbaijan, a source in AIC stated. The talks took place in Washington within 9th Global Private Equity Conference held jointly by the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA) and International Finance Corporation.
The event was also attended by the AIC Deputy Executive Director, Riyad Gasimov. The investment potential of Azerbaijan was presented and information regarding activities, goals and opportunities of AIC, as well as existence of the potential projects in non-oil sector of the Country was provided within the conference.
