Israel is Interested in Developing Oil Co-operation with Azerbaijan: Deputy Minister (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / On 12 June in Baku, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel, Yossi Gal, said at a press-conference that as a result of his visit to Azerbaijan the political talks between Azerbaijan and Israel are at a high level and the economic relations are attractive for both countries.

Gal especially called Azerbaijan's oil sector, as well as its communications, transport and agricultural spheres as particularly attractive for Israel.

Within his visit to Baku, the Deputy Foreign Minister discussed these issues with Azerbaijan's Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development, and Communications and Information Technologies.

An agreement was reached to organize mutual visits of the business communities of the two countries, which may also help further development of cooperation, the Deputy Minister said.

Israel is prepared to share its experience with Azerbaijan regarding innovative technology, agriculture and communications, the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister stressed.
