Bank Standard Negotiates with International Financial Institutions on Conclusion of Loan Agreements

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / Bank Standard are negotiating with three international financial institutions on the conclusion of loan agreements for the development of entrepreneurship, financing of trade and other economic fields, the first deputy president of the bank, Javid Guliyev, said at a press conference on 25 June.

According to Guliyev, a meeting with representatives of the Islamic Development Corporation is expected to take place this week. An agreement on the loan for financing small and medium sized entrepreneurships will be signed with the corporation by the end of the week.

The bank has intentions to conclude an agreement on the allocation of a loan for financing trade from the Black Sea Commerce and Development Bank by the end of the year.

Bank Standard also has plans to conclude an agreement on a loan for development of other economic fields from the Asian Development Bank.

The term and interest rate of the loans have not been publicized in the interests of the bank.

Bank Standard will have an authorized capital of AZN 50mln from 30 June. The assets of the bank made up over $500mln in the last eight months.
