Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) has reported that the seminar 'Markets of Capital', organized for banks and other financial institutions is being held in the NBA.
The seminar is being led by Philip Maclot, the General Manager of the Belgian Edmond de Rothschild private bank.
Results of negotiations held on different issues of cooperation and rendering technical assistance in different spheres between the NBA and the Luxemburg Agency on upgrade of financial equipment in 2006 was discussed at the seminar.
The agency chose the NBA as official partner and during 2007 is planning to hold five seminars on 'Counteraction of money-laundering', 'Markets of capital', Monetary system of Europe', 'Risk management' and 'Basel-2' topics.
The first seminar was held with participation of 50 representatives of NBA and commerce banks from 30 May to 1 June. The seminar was led by Rojer Klayesence, an expert of the agency.
