Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / Akif Mustafayev, the National Secretary of TRASECA from Azerbaijan, stated on 13 July that the workshop on training forwarders and operators of the TRASECA transport passage member-countries was concluded in Baku.
The workshop was held for countries of the south region of the transport passage, including those of the Caucasus and Middle Asia. Attending the workshop were representatives from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as experts from Russia, which is not a member of TRASECA.
The project is being financed by the Netherlands 'NEA' company. The project of training forwarders will include ten countries. Turkey, Bulgaria, and Rumania will join the project, as they have sufficiently-developed services in this respect.
