Khalilova / The reserve money (monetary basis) of Azerbaijan has increased in June 2007 by 8.9% (AZN 181.5mln) compared to the beginning of the year making up AZN 2,226mln, according to the National Bank of Azerbaijan. National currency basis (manat) increased by 27.1% (AZN 432.8mln) comprising AZN 2032.4mln.

Calculations show that under the influence of seasonal factors in June 2007, the net monetary basis increased by 4.7% compared to May and 2.1 times compared to June 2006.
Net foreign assets increased by AZN 223mln by the end of June, while net internal assets decreased by AZN 41.5mln compared to the beginning of the year.
