Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / The visit of Amitava Mikhers and Evgenia Germana, the experts of the UN Economic and Social Commission on Asia and Pacific Ocean (UNESCAP) has completed to Baku.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has stated the goal of the visit was to review implementation of the draft of 'Introduction of the system of panning, monitoring and assessment of local profits and creation of new jobs in Azerbaijan'. The implementation of the draft has begun after signing of the agreement between UNESCAP and Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Development in 2 July 2007.
The experts held negotiations in the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Social Protection of Population Ministry, State Committee, as well as in Baku office of UN. The experts visited Khachmaz and Salyan regions of Azerbaijan, where they met with local representatives of Executive Administration and population. The poll had been held.
As a result of visit the experts of UNESCAP jointly with employees of Research Institute on economic reforms will develop report on Azerbaijan. The report will be submitted during the workshop planned on October.
