Khalilova / The Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) has proceeded to development a plan to organize the establishment of expert groups which is stipulated in the main guidelines of the activities and institutional development of the ABA for 2007-11 approved at a conference of ABA on 17 July. According to the Executive Director of ABA, Farhad Aliyev, depending on priorities the expert groups will be established in different directions, marketing, IT, jurisprudence and so on.
The groups will either fall into subgroups with respect to top subjects, the size of the banks or all issues on a specific path will be included into one large group, Aliyev said. To define its requirements and priorities of commercial organizations, the organization has plans to draw up an evaluative document once the banks are polled.
The tasks of the expert groups will include the development of recommendations and updating the corresponding bodies and designing draft laws or amendments in legal acts.
