Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) is studying the opportunities of Belgrade Stock Exchange. In this connection Azerbaijani experts are visiting Belgrade, BSE's chairman of the board, Khayal Abdinov, reported on 7 September.
"If it is interesting for us, perhaps, we will conclude an agreement on further cooperation," Abdinov said.
Up to now BSE has concluded agreements with Istanbul and Warsaw Stock Exchanges. Abdinov considers development of internal securities market to be the primary tasks of the BSE, therefore there is no special necessity in extension of their list.
BSE representatives are visiting Belgrade also for participation in the General Assembly of the Federation of Eurasian Stock Exchanges (FEAS).
BSE's 2006 and 2008 budgets, as well as new programs suggested within the framework of FEAS will be considered at the meeting.
