Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S. Aliyev / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is planning to pass 392.53mln cu m of gas to the Azerenergy joint stock company to produce electricity in energy stations in September.
The schedule for gas operations between state companies has been changed since April 2007. SOCAR sells its gas to Azerenergy. Previously, SOCAR implemented the operation through Azerigas.
SOCAR sold gas to Azerigas for AZN 42 per 1,000 cu m, which the company needed for energy processing.
Azerigas transports gas to electricity stations.
