Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Aliyev, V. Sharifov / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) will dispatch 160,000 tons of oil for Israeli Oil Refineries LTD (ORL) in November in accordance with a contract on direct oil supply which was signed in summer, SOCAR reported on 7 November. The volume of supply may comprise up to 1.8mln barrels a month.
SOCAR will dispatch the oil in two assignments each of 80 tons. Both assignments of Urals oil will be shipped from Novorossiysk, where it is pumped via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. The first assignment will be dispatched on 16-17 November, and the second - on 28-29 November.
