Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend / The crude oil production in Azerbaijan made up 34,492,400.tons in January to October, or 32.6% more as compared to the similar period of 2006, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Major oil and gas production fell on the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which extracted 27.2mln ton of oil and 4.287.4bln cu m of gas, or 78.8% and 49.3% of the total oil and gas production in Azerbaijan.
The production of gas from the Azeri- and Chirag fields made up 2.141.5bln cu m of has and from the Shah Deniz field 2.145.9bln.
In January to October 2007 the volume of gas production made up 8.703.1bln cu m, which is more by 57.3% as compared to similar period of 2006.
In January to October the electricity production in Azerbaijan made up 16.486.6bln KW, or down by 10.3% as compared to last year.
