Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Jalaloglu / Gas supply was suspended in the Azerbaijani Barda and Tartar regions due to an explosion that occurred in a gas pipeline near that area on 28 November. No reason for the explosion has been given yet.
Ramiz Adigozalov, the chief of the Gas Exploitation Department of the Barda region, said that repair work has begun at the place where the accident occurred.
Gas supply to the regions is expected to be restored by 29 November. However, some central streets of the regions still have gas supplies.
