Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 January / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / Shahmar Movsumov, the head of State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), stated during the press-conference that the transmission of company assets, enabled in the project of construction of platforms for development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, would be brought to zero by the mid of 2008.
The part of equipment, automobiles and metalware used in the construction of platforms on the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli project in the Baku plant named Heydar Aliyev, would be transmitted to SOFAZ balance. BP is the operator of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field-development program. Bos Shelf - McDermott is BP's subcontractor on the construction of bearing units. The construction of bearing units and upper buildings of platforms within the framework of full-scale development of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field has been completed. Within the framework of development of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field program the six platforms have been constructed.
