Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 March / Trend / In 2008, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is to drill 15 new wells in the Gunashli field, eight wells will be oil oriented and seven gas. SOCAR develops shallow section of Gunashli independently.
SOCAR completed drilling in one of the highest debit oil fields. The well was drilled from platform of Gunashli -13 on Svita Pereriva on 3,100 metres depth. Daily debit of well makes up 140 tons of oil and 23,000 cu m of gas.
It was the second well drilled in Gunashli field in March. Earlier, a well with 100 tons of oil debit was drilled on Gunashli-14.
