Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 April / Trend / In the first quarter of 2008, about 9mln tons (91 tankers) of Azeri oil was sold via the Turkish port Ceyhan, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported on 10 April. In March, some 3mln tons of Azeri Light oil was sold from Ceyhan.
Since the beginning of transportation via Ceyhan, 45mln tons (430 tankers) of Azeri Light oil has been exported via this port.
In January-March, Azerbaijan transported over 8.78mln tons of oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC), which makes some 2.9mln tons per month.
From the beginning of transportation to 1 April, BTC has pumped over 46mln tons of Azerbaijani oil.
