Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 April / Trend / Azerbaijan possesses infrastructures for ensuring transportation of natural gas from Central Asia to Europe and the Country is prepared to present it, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovnak Abdullayev, said at the meeting with the US Assistant Secretary of State, Ruben Jeffrey.
Ruben Jeffrey said that SOCAR is one of the considerable organizations in the region.
This year, Azerbaijan independently began developing Umid field and there are plans to carry out exploration works on other structures as well, SOCAR President said.
The USA will further support energy projects implemented by Azerbaijan, Jeffrey stated.
