Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 May / corr Trend I.Alizade / The Bavarian region of Germany has offered Azerbaijan cooperation in the energy sector. "Azerbaijan has rich energy resources and we are interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in this sector," Manfred Ach, the chairman of the commission on public budget and material issues of the Parliament of Bavaria, Germany, said in a meeting with members of the Azerbaijani-German group, on 2 May.
The Bavarian Parliament led by Ach arrived in Azerbaijan on 1 May. The Bavarian MPs will hold meetings at the Parliament, the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Economic Development during the visit to end on 5 May.
Ach said that in a few days a delegation from Bavaria will visit Azerbaijan to discuss cooperation in the economic sector.
