Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 May / Trend / Oil and Gas Construction Trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) constructed a new asphalt plant, the Company said. The SOCAR President, Rovnak Abdullayev, participated in the opening of the plant.
The capacity of the plant is 50,000 tons per hour. All equipments for the enterprise were brough from Ukraine.
The Trust owns five asphalt plants on Neft Dashlari (Oil Stones) field, Chilov, Pirallahi and Gum Adasi islands and Sangachal area. These enterprises serve oil refinery departments of SOCAR on these territories.
The products of the new plant will be used for the projects on clean-up of oil-polluted lands, construction of roads to wells, reservoirs and other large facilities of SOCAR.
