Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 June / Trend corr E. Ismayilov/ Complex Drilling Trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reported on 11 June that it would complete drilling of a new deep production well in the onshore Jafarli field within a month.
Currently, a column is being descended to 3,875m depth. Afterwards, 180m more will be drilled. The projected depth of the well is 4,050m.
The depth of the second new production well in the Jafarli field has comprised 3,131m (4,050m projected). Drilling is expected to be completed within three months.
About 60-70 tons of oil is expected to be produced from each new well per day.
